To the parents and carers of year 9 students,
An IBM technician is coming to Kadina to perform a mandatory upgrade to this year's laptops. He/she is only here for a short time and every laptop has to be accounted for. The technician will not return so every laptop and battery must be collected at the start of week 1 in Term 4. As part of the upgrade, the battery must be fully charged at 100% and should not be used the morning before they are handed in. We will do our best to return laptops to the students as soon as possible so that we don't disrupt their learning potential. Expect your student's laptop to be away for several days.
The laptops can be dropped off on Monday and Tuesday the 11th and 12th of October (Week 1, Term4). They will be returned to the students in the order that they were handed in therefore, first-in means first-back. Laptops should be dropped off at the TSO office (between Labs 2 & 3) before school, at recess, at lunch or after school.
Thank you very much for your time and I hope for everyone's sake that this procedure runs as smoothly as possible. With everyone's cooperation, we can be back to business as usual here at Kadina before you know it.
